2024 FCNM Annual Meeting
Join us on our maiden conference at sea! The FCNM is hosting their Annual Meeting at sea!
Welcoming all midwives, nurses, physicians, healthcare workers, friends, and family!
The Florida Council of Nurse-Midwives is hitting’ the high seas! Join us for our first ever Annual Meeting aboard the Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas. You do not need to be a midwife or healthcare provider from Florida to join us. This is open to any and all who wish to participate in our annual educational event. Our annual meeting will include 5 CEU credits (pending) and a conference T-shirt with your registration!
Meet us in Port Canaveral, Florida on Friday, May 10th as we board the Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas. You will have a designated boarding time (as per your booking through Royal Caribbean). The Allure of the Seas will set sail at 4:00 pm EST. Join us for a welcome session and to kick off our educational event from 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm.
On Saturday, May 11th, we will have educational session in the onboard conference rooms from 8:00 am until 10:30 am. We will then venture into Nassau, Bahamas, the Allure’s first dock, until 5:00 pm. Start your morning with some education and enjoy the rest of the day in the beautiful Bahamas!
On Sunday, May 12th, educational sessions will again be in the onboard conference rooms from 8:00 am to 10:30 am. After this, you will adventure the rest of your day away at Royal Caribbean’s private island Coco Cay with beaches, lagoons, pools, a water park, and shore excursions as you enjoy a second day in paradise!
On Monday, May 13th, we will say farewell back at Port Canaveral as we dock at 7:00 am back in Florida.

A $100 deposit is due at the time of booking with Sarah. Most deposits are non-refundable but can be moved to a future sailing date with Royal Caribbean for a fee.
Once you have booked and have a travel reference number through Dream Vacations, head to our conference registration page to get registered! You will be required to enter your travel reference number in order to register for the conference.
You can order extra T-shirts via the conference registration page if interested.

Cost:
Conference Registration: $225 (includes educational sessions and conference T-shirt)
Cruise Cabin: Starting at $530 per person double occupancy in Central Park balcony and Ocean balcony room plus $106.65 taxes, fees, and port expenses.

Cruise Gratuities: $16 per person per day is most common ($48 per person for a 3-night cruise).

Needed Cruise Documents:
Ideal: Valid and current passport that does not expire until well after the cruise has returned. This is ideal given that there are any emergencies while outside the country. Airlines do not accept birth certificates as valid travel documents should you need to fly home for any reason.
Acceptable: Official birth certificate with a seal.
